Kid St. Studios is designed to meet a range of needs and interests. Whether your child is developing a new passion for art or in need of more thorough exploration of their inventive side, we offer expert instruction that will lead your child on the path of creative discovery. In our friendly and relaxed environment, children gain knowledge and confidence in the arts, while learning creative thinking.
Classes begin in February. Schedule will be available before Christmas.

This one day workshop
is designed for our youngest friends to bring their parents along and make a
clay project together!Parents can
assist their children as everyone learns basic clay handbuilding
techniques.Clay is an excellent medium
for developing creative and motor skills in young friends. Projects may include
animal pinch pots, creature sculpture, birdhouses, and/or slab dish set.

pots on the wheel isn't just for grownups.This one day workshop is designed for beginning or experienced wheel

Synopsis:These classes are designed to
introduce the world of poetry to young people- poetry which is personal and can be about anything and everything,
poetry as a way of seeing and hearing the world around them, poetry as a
written expression of how they feel, a way to explore the meaning and mysteries
of their lives.They will write poetry,
singly and together, they will read poetry, and they will listen to other
poets' work.After the last class, there
will be a public reading of the students' work at OCAF.
Students
will bring a new notebook and something to write with.Instructor will provide other materials
(i.e., poems, recordings, handouts, etc.)
