Bagpipes Classes

Learn
to Play Bagpipes - Beginner Class 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
This
class is designed for teaching the basics of playing the bagpipes.
Students will need to bring a Dunbar regular size, plastic practice chanter
with a Walsh reed and the bagpipe tutor by Seumas Macneil, commonly known as
the "green book" to the first class. This will cost about $100. I
will be more than glad to provide contacts for suppliers for these supplies. DO
NOT BUY BAGPIPES AT THIS TIME! The practice chanter is all that is needed
to learn the various finger movements and tunes for playing the bagpipes.

Learn
to Play Bagpipes - Intermediate Class 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM
This
class is for students that have completed the Beginning Class or are able to
read music, can play beginning tunes on the chanter and are ready to start on
the bagpipes.
