Procedures for E-Newsletter
Creative Insight and E-mail
Announcements 2010
1.Eligibility- OCAF members and sponsors. The e-newsletter
and e-mail announcements are intended to be a communication from OCAF members to OCAF members
about items and areas of interest to the local arts community. Sales related
items from businesses are expressly prohibited unless that business is an OCAF
sponsor. The OCAF staff will make the final decision as to what is acceptable
for the newsletter or e-mails.
2.E-mail Frequency: Due to the nature of the work necessary for
developing e-mail communication we must limit their frequency. We will evaluate
all e-mail requests made in a timely manner (see Deadlines below) and post them
on Wednesdays, Thursday & Saturdays (if necessary) of the week, depending
on the need. OCAF events and event coordinators get preference for getting
their messages to the members, but the OCAF staff reserves the right to
determine how many e-mail allowed in a given month. OCAF is committed to
getting relevant news to its members, but must use best business practices as a
guideline for the frequency of those e-mails.
