Georgia Small Works show will provide a visual forum for both established and undiscovered artists working in small format. This juried exhibit will include artworks in every medium imaginable in 2-D & 3-D. This exhibit will be the first of its kind here at OCAF and will offer an opportunity to see together in one place hundreds of artworks from all over Georgia.

 

 

Eligibility:

Open to adults 18 years and older living in Georgia.  All works submitted must not have been previously shown at any OCAF exhibition or event. All artwork must have been created within the last 3 years.

 

Entry Fee:

$20 Non OCAF Members or $15 OCAF Members*

 

 

*Dues to join the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation are $30 year for individuals or $40 year for family & $20 for seniors and students. Awards:

·         Best in Show: $200

·         First Merit 2-D: $100

·         First Merit 3-D: $100

·         People's Choice: $100 (awarded at the end of opening reception)

 

Entry Rules:

·         All 2-D & 3-D work must be no greater than 14" in any direction, including framing.

·         2D work must be suitably framed or finished and be wired on back and ready for hanging. No saw tooth hangers please.

·         Each applicant is encouraged to submit up to three pieces.

·         All work must be hand delivered on Friday, October 1 or Saturday October 2 between 10 AM and 4 PM.

Sales:

A commission rate of 35% will be charged on all sales. Prices quoted on the entry form may not be changed after acceptance.  All artwork will be offered for sale at the exhibition at the price set by the artist. Checks will be mailed within 10 days of end of the exhibition.

Artwork Not Selected Pick Up: October 9, 10 AM to 4 PM at 34 School Street, Watkinsville GA 30677

Exhibition Dates: October 8 through November 12

Unsold Artwork Pick Up Date: Saturday, November 13, 10 AM to 4 PM

Publicity/Reproduction Rights:

OCAF reserves the right to photograph and publish any work for publicity or promotional purposes.

 

Liability:

The utmost care will be used in handling all work. OCAF carries specific insurance coverage that protects the art. However, if damage or theft occurs outside of our insurance coverage OCAF and its volunteers or staff will not be responsible.

 

Artists work chosen for the exhibit will be displayed October 8 - November 12, 2010 at the OCAF Main Gallery, 34 School Street, Watkinsville Georgia.  No displayed artwork may be removed from the exhibit before Friday, November 12, 2010 at 4 PM
